今年（2024年）, 路城华人基督教会将继续参加“撒玛利亚钱包圣诞爱心鞋盒行动”来表达对社区的爱和关怀，将上帝的爱传递给世界各地需要希望和玩具的儿童。
撒玛利亚钱包是无派别的基督教福音机构。自 1970 年以来，撒玛利亚钱包为世界各地受伤害的人提供精神和物质援助，通过上帝的儿子耶稣基督分享上帝的爱，帮助饱受战争、贫困、自然灾害、疾病和饥荒的受害者，传扬主耶稣基督的福音。

This year (2024), Louisville Chinese Christian Church will continue to participate in the "Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Action" to express love and care for the community, and pass God's love to children around the world who need hope and toys.
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. |

You can use ordinary cardboard or plastic shoe boxes. If you want to decorate the shoe box beautifully, you can wrap the shoe box with gift colored paper. But remember not to wrap the entire shoe box when wrapping, and the box and the lid should be wrapped separately so that the staff can open it for inspection.

第三步：祷告

Most importantly, "pray continually" (1 Thessalonians 5:17) for the child who will receive your shoebox gift.
Please also pray for: Their family to also be receptive to the Good News of Jesus Christ. The pastor of the church who delivers your shoebox gift. Their community to be transformed by the Gospel. |

Each shoe box requires a donation of $10 for collection, processing, transportation and other project costs.
If you print the label and donate online, you can get a special label and follow your shoe box. Next, adhere the label to your shoe box. And then use the lookup tool on the Samaritan's Purse page to find the country that your shoeboxes will be delivered to. Use the link here to donate $10 per box and print a special label directly. You can also write a $10 check directly and put it in the shoe box. Pay order to Samaritan's Purse. |

第五步：把鞋盒送到教会

收集时间：11月12日之前

Collection date: Before November 12
We will collect all the gift shoe boxes prepared by the brothers and sisters at the church and deliver them to the predetermined collection location of the "Samaria Wallet". Please send the shoe box to the lobby of the Louisville Chinese Christian Church. All shoe boxes need special labels to be attached to the boxes before they can be sent out. Please refer to the step 4 [Shoebox Labels and Shipping Donations] as above. |
